The Light

In, (John 9;5) Jesus said; As long as I am in the world, I am the Light of the world. 

The world is the system created by man. It is the way of thinking. (Proverbs 23;7).

Jesus Christ died and defeated that system on the cross.

In (Matthew 11;28-30): Jesus Christ is saying;  Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

In other words;  that if; you think of Him and not in the problem, you will be able to see the problems more clearly and you will have rest.

This painting describes the light in the dense darkness of the waters. Those dark waters, are the problems we face in our lives.  The Bible speaks of the turbulent waters, (problems). (Psalm 124;4-5) said: then the flood would have swept us away, the torrent would have gone over us; then over us would have gone the raging waters.

  (Isaiah 43;2) said: When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned.

Like the Light House that guides the ships in the darkness of the night, so is Jesus Christ for us.
